"Tai Cong's passion for the sport is fuelled by the challenge of competing internationally. He believes that it is with challenge and getting out of comfort zone that one can find progress in himself and the sport. Being a veteran and experienced player, Tai Cong continously seeks overseas opportunities for the Singapore National teams to compete and gain exposure in order to increase the standard of play in Singapore. In order to impart skills and knowledge towards developing canoe polo players, Tai Cong took on coaching roles with the National Women's Team, as well as school teams like Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Singapore Polytechnic."
