"Shawn Ng is a veteran player with almost 20 years under his belt. He is one of the most versatile players in Singapore, having experience playing all the roles on the international stage. For the 2023 Asian Canoe Polo Championships, Shawn Ng will play as center zoner and will be the anchor for the team’s defence. On offence, his role is to be the main threat to drawing the attention of the opponents and create opportunities for his teammates to score. Shawn also plays a critical role in supporting the core of this team off the court, coming up with creative solutions to enable the players to continue training when faced with tough situation such as during the Covid-19 pandemic. He will go above and beyond to ensure the survival and growth of the sport. Shawn is also a member of Singapoe Canoe Federation's Executive Committee."
