Born with a medical condition called Erb's Palsy, Tay Wei Ming is an active para-badminton athlete with at least 14 years of experience (since 2008) competing internationally. Passionate and dedicated in his sporting career, Wei Ming has put in a great deal of time and effort in achieving numerous medals from various international competitions. In 2017, he became Singapore's first ever Para-Badminton World Champion by clinching the Gold medal at the BWF Para-Badminton World Championships in Ulsan, Korea. Now at the age of 34, he is still fighting to fulfil his Paralympic dream by targeting to qualify for the Paris 2024 Paralympics Games. Fun fact: Durian is my all-time favorite fruit. I used to play Darts competitively in a league. His philosophy "Either I give it my all, or I don't do it at all!"
