Ong Shu Wen

Shu Wen first played Canoe Polo in 2003, when she joined the NUS Canoe Polo Team. Her first international representation was at the 2005 Asian Championships hosted in Malaysia. It has been 18 years since she first competed for Singapore, but she remains dedicated to and passionate for the sport. She was part of the team that clinched Singapore's first Asian Championships gold at the 2015 edition in Hong Kong, as well as when the team achieved its highest world ranking at 2018 World Championships. The team's 9th-place performance at the World Championships allowing the team to qualify for Singapore's first World Games in 2022.
