Jeralyn Tan Yee Ting

Jeralyn Tan started playing Boccia in 2008. Picking up the sport as a student at the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore (CPAS) School, Jeralyn enjoyed the competitive nature of Boccia. Over the years, Jeralyn represented Singapore at the 2015 and 2017 ASEAN Para Games, winning a Bronze in the Mixed Team BC1/BC2 event. Jeralyn also achieved a bronze at the BISFed 2018 Chinese Taipei Regional Open. Continuing to train hard amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Jeralyn enjoyed a breakthrough year in 2021. She achieved a gold medal in the Asian-Oceania Regionals Championships held in Dubai. With that, she has also secured a slot in the individuals class for 2022 World Boccia World Championships. With consistent training, Jeralyn’s efforts have paid off. Jeralyn is the first ranked female athlete in the Asia region and is currently ranked 4th in the world rankings. She has qualified for the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games. The only BC1 female player representing Singapore at this game. Her hobbies include chatting with friends and playing games on facebook.
