Faridah Binte Salleh

Faridah has been involved with para sports since 2014. She started with para shooting, representing Singapore at the 2015 ASEAN Para Games. She took up lawn bowls competitively in 2016, and since then has been to various competitions. Faridah was diagnosed with polio in her right leg since she was two years old but despite her disability and having to juggle work, family, and training, she aims to be a champion and aspires to promote lawn bowls to the public. Her husband is her strongest motivation and for the upcoming Games. She wants to do her very best to bring back a gold medal and make Singapore proud. Her philosophy is, “Always think positive, never give up.”
