Relishing challenges, Danielle devoted her time to Handball from age 13 years, and was rapidly protmoted to the National team where she represented Singapore in a number of regional championships. A chance encounter at a Wrestling demonstration, helped her realise her true calling, redirecting her energy and focus to wrestling. Danielle's motivation and determination did not go unnoticed, and WFS sought opportunities and resources to develop her potential. Narrowly missing out on the bronze medal in her 2021 SEA Games debut, Danielle worked relentlessly to qualify for the 2022 Commonwealth Games. At the 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia, Danielle proudly contributed a silver medal to the team tally. Her outstanding performance at the Asian Wrestling Championship helped secure a slot for the coming Asian Games, where she looks forward to honing her skills with Asia's best.
