Amita is a national fencer and a two-time Olympian. She made history in 2020 as the first Singaporean to secure an Olympic spot through a qualifying tournament for the Tokyo Games. Her achievements include a bronze medal at the 2018 Asian Games, gold at the 2019 SEA Games, and bronze at the 2023 Asian Fencing Championships.
