Ryan Ang represented Singapore at the 2022 and 2023 Southeast Asian Games. He debuted at the 2022 Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam, and finished 8th individually and 4th in the team event. In 2022, he was also part of 2 historic Singapore teams that finished 2nd at the Asia Pacific Team Championships and 21st at the World Amateur Team Championships, Singapore's best-ever results at both events. Ryan was also the 2021 Singapore Open Amateur Champion and 2021 Order of Merit winner. In the past year, Ryan finished 5th at the Australian Amateur and 8th at the 2023 SEA Games, and also was the only Singaporean to play and make the cut at a DP World Tour Event hosted in Singapore. With Ryan's performance trending in the past few events, his participation at the 2023 Asian Games is highly anticipated.
