    • Qi En's journey into the world of skating commenced when he was just 13 years old, where he first delved into the joys of recreational freestyle slide activities. As the years passed and he reached the age of 16, Qi En felt the allure of freestyle slide diminish, replaced by a newfound fascination with the exhilarating rush of speed. His heart yearned to explore inline speed skating, and with unwavering determination, he set out on a quest to find opportunities in this exciting discipline. Unfortunately, at that time, there were no teams specializing in inline speed skating, prompting Qi En to pivot towards short track speed skating on ice. Embracing the icy expanse of the rink, Qi En's dedication to Ice Speed Skating flourished, culminating in a remarkable achievement of securing 2nd place in the 2017 Southeast Asian Games in the Short Track Speed Skating 3,000m Relay, alongside his talented team. For years, Qi En immersed himself in the world of Short Track Speed Skating, honing his skills and pushing his limits until he reached the age of 22. However, life took an unexpected turn, and personal reasons compelled him to step away from skating for approximately four years. Despite the hiatus, his love for the sport remained unyielding, ever beckoning him back to the ice. Last year, driven by an unwavering passion for skating and a longing to reignite his connection with the activity he cherished, Qi En returned to the scene of inline speed skating. The joy of gliding on wheels, the sense of freedom, and the camaraderie of fellow skaters filled his heart with a renewed sense of purpose. Coincidentally, an opportunity arose that could take his skating dreams to new heights – an invitation to participate in the Asian Games for Inline Speed Skating 3,000m Relay. With the experience of training alongside a dedicated team for several months, Qi En decided to seize this chance with courage and determination. The prospect of competing in a prestigious event like the Asian Games fueled his ambition, pushing him to give his all and chase after greatness on the rink. Undeterred by challenges and fueled by his unwavering passion, Qi En stood ready to embrace this new chapter in his skating journey, where every stride and every moment would carry him closer to his dreams."
